Double Suction Axially Split Pump

Product Description

centrifugal pumps have single stage double entry impellers arranged either horizontally or vertically.

Main application:
-for water treatment and supply.
-in irrigation and drainage systems.
-in power stations, heating systems and district heating plants.
-in fire fighting.
-as marine ballast and cooling water pumps.
-fan pump for pulp and paper industry.
Sh-omega pumps can also be used as energy recovery turbines.

Operating range:
-capacities to 15000m3/h.
-heads to 300m
-temperatures to 50 degrees.

Design features:
The casing is aially spit with the suction and discharge branches located in the lower half, this allows the complete pump rotor with bearings to be removed for maintenance without disturbing the main pipework and valves.
The pump shaft runs in either grease or oil lubricated rolling bearings.
Pump shaft is totally protected avoiding this way any contact with the pumped liquid.
The shaft can be reversed to allow the pump to be driven from either side(clockwise and counter clockwise rotation).
Casing wear rings are normally supplied and optionally impeller wear rings.
